Welcome to United Medicine Group! We represent physicians who have taken their dedication in medicine into the 21st century by combining their conventional medical training with complementary and alternative therapies for maximum health services. Our centres are dedicated to providing the best service possible while at the same time fully engaging the patient in their care. The time has come to stop paying lip service to “integrative medicine”, and make every effort to bring all aspects of medicine together for the betterment of health care. Society is demanding better, more comprehensive care, and this cannot be accomplished while “orthodox” and “alternative” medicine worlds still run parallel and do not intersect. The words alone - “orthodox” and “alternative” - suggest mutual disrespect. This can no longer continue. Let us become united. United Medicine.
How Our Clinics Work:

When you call for information, we will do our best to answer any questions you may have. We will direct you to the physician or clinic best suited to your needs. When you book an appointment for consultation, you will be told what to bring with you in terms of records, meds, etc. Please note that we are private centres and are not covered by provincial insurance (other than any routine tests). Consultation fees are discussed at time of booking. During consultation, any non-routine testing that may be required will be fully discussed, including costs, and your care plan will be decided and prioritized by you and the physician. We want you to be fully informed and completely comfortable with your plan. We will help you with your insurance claims when you require (many plans cover some of the treatments here); we will explain test results so that you understand them, and will provide you with copies for your own records. We will listen when you have other ideas or therapies that you would like to incorporate into your plan. We are most willing to work with other physicians and practitioners. We play well with others. We want you engaged in your own care. It’s your body, and no one knows it like you do. We count on you to try to communicate to us what your body is telling you, so that we can make appropriate adjustments in you treatment. You help us treat you better. That’s how we work.
