We feel proud talking of PolyMVA since our clinic has been involved throughout with the historical journey of PolyMVA in Canada.
It was Dr. Rudy Falk, the late professor of Surgical Oncology at Toronto General Hospital, Canada, along with Rita Mikkelsaar, cofounder of United Medicine Group, and a team of 15 other staff members who researched and conducted the first ever human trials of PolyMVA in Canada. Spanning over a period of five years they explored many alternative cancer therapies including PolyMVA.
Their goal was to use an integrated approach for the treatment of cancer patients to enhance their quality of life and reduce the side effects of concurrent therapies such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
During this period they used oral as well as intravenous PolyMVA and noticed multiple useful benefits such as tumour shrinkage, pain reduction or alleviation, improved appetite & energy and weight gain. Some of our patients are still using low doses of Poly-MVA and have no signs of cancer even more than ten years later.1
Poly MVA is a non-toxic substance which is a complex made of Paladium and Alpha LipoicAcid (among many other ingredients) and it acts as a polynucleotide reductase. It is also known as Polydox and LApd by some researchers.
The MVA stands for minerals, vitamins, and amino acids. LAPd stands for Lipoic acid / Palladium complex.
ACTION OF LIPOIC ACID
Lipoic Acid is a powerful antioxidant and has unique property of being water as well as fat soluble. Due to this ability it can practically cross every cell membrane including the blood- brain barrier. The blood-brain barrier (BBB) is the hardest to cross for most drugs, including many types of chemotherapeutic agents.
Our clinic uses hyaluronic acid (HA) to enhance this effect even further. Hyaluronic acid (HA) acts as a targeting agent to deliver drugs to the cell and its nucleolus. Cancer cells have many HA receptors. Therefore such a combination enhances the availability of the drug to the cells.
By these techniques even a small dose of chemotherapy will help exert maximum effect. Such an approach also minimizes side effects without compromising the desired action.
ACTION AS A POLYNUCLEOTIDE REDUCTASE
Cancer cells have some unique features besides having a number of HA receptors as mentioned above, e.g.:
They like a relatively anaerobic environment which means they do not like oxygen. In fact, cancer cells require only a fraction of oxygen as compared to the normal cell.
They breathe in a different way, producing very little water during respiration.
They love sugars and require a lot for breathing.
They have no oxygen radical pathway and therefore cannot destroy free radicals.
All these characteristics help potentiate the actions of PolyMVA with hyaluronic acid as a cancer therapy. Greater numbers of HA receptors help penetration and drug delivery to the cells. The synthetic DNA reductase in PolyMVA forms protein radicals which denature the tumour cell’s proteins. Normal cells are not affected since they are equipped with a mechanism which converts these radicals into water and energy.
TYPES OF CANCERS AFFECTED BY POLYMVA
The most dramatic responses were noted with brain tumours. Other tumours that respond well are breast, ovarian, prostate, colon, and lung cancer, among others.
PolyMVA therapy may be combined with conventional (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc), modified conventional (IPT, low dose chemotherapy etc. and other alternative anti cancer therapies such as immune system stimulants and modulators, Iscador, hydrogen peroxide etc) and other modalities (such as detoxification, energy healing: meditation, relaxation, Reiki, hypnotherapy,
