Chemical toxicity investigation

CHEMICAL TOXICITY:

Chemicals have been absorbed into our systems through food and environment for years. Their cumulative effect results in chemical toxicity.

EPA scientists found that the total toxic residues in our daily diet alone can exceed 500 percent of the recommended daily maximum – even if each individual food is within “safe” limits! Most pesticides, herbicides and fungicides accumulate in fatty tissues, bones, brain, endocrine glands, liver and many other organs. The symptoms are slow and insidious in onset and may be related to one or more organs and the resulting picture may overlap many diseases and health issues.

Besides food we have innumerable chemicals in our environment. These are either in the air or water or in products of daily use. You may read their names on the labels of many products used every day. Most of these names are usually too small to read. Even if you can read them, they seem too complicated and difficult to understand and therefore we tend to ignore them.  Hidden in them are some of the deadliest cripplers and killers of life!

The most common groups of chemicals include: Pesticides, PCBs (Polychlorinated Biphenyls) and Volatile solvents, Phthalates & Parabans, Porphyrins and Neoprtins & Biopterin. There are dozens of indvidual chemicals within every group.

If you suspect that you have the possibility of chemical exposure or toxicity, we can test your chemical burden by taking a blood or urine sample. We test for individual groups as mentioned above as well the individual chemicals within each group. For more information please ask our health professionals in the clinic.
